What Botpaid does
Botpaid hosts an MCP server and complementary web API that expose media-generation tools inside Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients. Users authenticate with GitHub or Google, add a prepaid balance, and then call hosted tools like generateImage, generateVideo, and generateAudio.
How it is built
The production service runs on Cloudflare Workers with Durable Objects, D1, R2, and KV. Stripe handles payments. Botpaid routes requests to underlying media providers while keeping the integration surface stable for the user. The hosted MCP endpoint is https://app.botpaid.com/mcp.
Business model
Botpaid charges provider cost plus a flat 20% service fee. Balances start at $1, remain prepaid, and unused balance can be refunded within 180 days of purchase. Botpaid is designed to reduce subscription lock-in and make model switching cheaper for developers who want one reliable integration point.
